Welcome message

Since its establishment in 1996, the Korean Society of Pediatric Anesthesiologists (KSPA) has been steadily committed to promoting the development of pediatric anesthesia, sharing knowledge and information among members, and encouraging friendship.

While there were many restrictions due to Covid-19 in the past two years, we expect we can resume our conferences and seminars off-line starting this year. First, we intend to restart the KSPA Simulation Workshop, which started in 2015 and was suspended due to Covid-19 after the 5th Workshop in 2019. Second, we plan on continuing the Winter Seminar of Pediatric Anesthesia (WiSPA), which first started in February 2022. Third, in 2023, we will host the 19th meeting of the Asian Society of Pediatric Anesthesiologists (ASPA) for the first time ever in Korea. We hope the success of the ASPA meeting will provide members with a place for active communication and enhance the status of the KSPA both domestically and internationally. Finally, we will maintain cooperation and developmental relationships with domestic and foreign organizations related to pediatric anesthesia, pediatric pain, pediatric sedation, and pediatric resuscitation.

We will endeavor to help our members develop their academic knowledge and clinical practice and aim to activate stronger communication and interaction among members in hopes of fulfilling KSPA's original mission.

We ask for your interest and support.

Thank you very much.
